2 CORINTHIANS
2 CORINTHIANS
Available 2024
Paul wrote 2 Corinthians at a vulnerable time in his life. He had learned that the church at Corinth was struggling, and he sought to take action to preserve the unity of that local community of believers. Since the time Paul wrote 1 Corinthians, others had come to Corinth to teach doctrines that contradicted Paul's message. Opposing teachers in the community took Paul's meekness to be a sign of moral weakness or lack of authority. 2 Corinthians is Paul's articulate defense of his apostleship and message.
